Bright Suns, Elissa!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your stellar question! It sounds like the Force is strong with your not-so-little Jedi!
Because
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance utilizes a virtual queue, all members of your party that wish to ride will need to join the virtual queue. In order to join the
virtual queue, A Guest needs a valid admission ticket and a
Theme Park Reservation. It is important that Guests have both when attempting to join the virtual queue. If you’re beginning your day at Disneyland Park, you may attempt to secure your position in the virtual queue for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at 7:00 a.m. If you are unsuccessful in securing a Boarding Group in the morning or if you are beginning your day at Disney California Adventure Park, you'll have another chance to access the virtual queue system at 12:00 p.m.! If you're assigned a Boarding Group, wait for your return time to be called then head to the attraction entrance. There you’ll want to explain the situation to a Cast Member and they will determine if admission can be granted to all members of your party.
If admission is not granted for your 2-year-old, you may use the
Rider Switch Service. This service allows Guests that don’t meet the boarding requirements or are unable to experience a particular attraction the ability to wait with a supervising Guest (age 14 or older) while the rest of the party enjoys the attraction. Then, the roles are switched to allow the supervising Guest to experience the attraction without waiting in the regular queue. Rider Switch is available for
select attractions in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park including
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
I hope this answers your question! Please head back if you think of any more!
Til the Spire!
