We are talking over all of our possible dining options for our upcoming trip in November! I was just wondering if there were any Pro's or Con's out there for Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club? We were interested in the dinner buffet :) Thanks In Advance!!

    Hello Casey!

Up until this past December I had never dined at Cape May Cafe for dinner.  I had always wanted to but wasn't sure I should give up one of our favorite meals to try something new that I hadn't heard much about.  I am so glad we did!  My entire family, including an extremely picky 6 year old, loved eating at Cape May Cafe for dinner.  In fact, we liked it so much we already have plans to eat there again on our next vacation.

I can absolutely see you being torn on eating here, I was the exact same. Here are some things I really liked about Cape May Cafe.  All You Can Eat Crab Legs... need I say more?  The crab legs were amazing and they were replenished on the buffet several times during our meal.  They we easy to open and the meat was a little sweet and tender.  You could tell they were fresh.  My husband seriously didn't eat anything else the entire meal.  He made so many trips to the crab leg station surrounding tables were starting to giggle.  The other seafood offerings were great too, be sure to try the peel and eat shrimp.  We honestly enjoyed all there was to offer seafood wise on the buffet and we live at the beach and know good seafood.  My daughter loved the kids section of the buffet.  She is very picky but they offered a variety of familiar offerings like chicken legs and macaroni and cheese.  We enjoyed the dining room atmosphere, it was laid back and everyone was very friendly.  The only downside I can see to eating here is if you don't enjoy seafood.  Cape May Cafe offers a variety of non seafood options on the buffet and while they were okay the seafood is the star here.  But if you enjoy seafood, I highly encourage you to give it a try.  I think you will have a great meal and a lot of fun.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
