Hey there, Kristen! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We’re glad you stopped by!
Disney Gift Cards are a super convenient way to start budgeting for your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation. These gift cards are especially magical since you can use them for pretty much anything Disney! From the Disney Store Online, Disney Cruise Line, Disneyland Resort, tickets for all four theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort and also, dining! For a complete list of where these cards are accepted, you can visit the
Disney Gift Card Website. You can also read the Frequently Asked Questions section for more detailed info.
As a rule of thumb, you should be able to use your Disney Gift Card at Disney owned and operated restaurants. But, for example, when you visit
Disney Springs, some of those restaurants are independently owned and they might not accept it. Usually, for restaurants inside the Theme Parks and Resort Hotels, you should be good to use it. There are some exceptions. You can always contact the Disney Dining line at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 where a helpful Cast Member can give you more specifics.
Kristen, don’t forget you can begin making your Advance Dining Reservations as early as 180 days in advance. Be sure to start planning for your favorites early so you can lock in those reservations. If you haven’t done so yet, open a
My Disney Experience account and download the mobile app into your smart phone. You can make and keep track of all your reservations in this easy to use planning tool.
I hope you have a magical day! Please do come back and see us again soon.
