Hey there Cameron and welcome to planDisney.
Mickey is visiting Guests at every theme park at Walt Disney World Resort during select times of the day. There are many
Disney character experiences all over Walt Disney World Resort. Once upon a time, Mickey Mouse did talk to Guests in the Town Square Theater. For reasons only known to the Big Cheese, he has not done that in a long time. I also loved to FaceTime friends and family who wanted to be with us and meet our favorite Disney friends but could not join us in person. Unfortunately, there are no virtual meet and greets, only in-person. Whether he will start talking again is a mystery but we can only hope. I recommend you follow the
Disney Parks Blog as it is the place where the newest excitement at Disney Theme Parks is announced and the return of talking Mickey would be epic.
planDisney Pro Tip: When you visit in May there will be opportunities to meet all of your friends in every theme park. Just open up your
My Disney Experience App and click the magnifying glass at the bottom to search for "Character Meet." Many options will appear but if you click the unbolded "Character Meet" at the bottom it should pull up all the meeting locations. You can do this for every character. You may also use the search feature on the
Walt Disney World Resort website to see the
meeting location of Mickey and Friends.
