Who do I talked to about food allergies?

    Hi, Denise!

When traveling to Walt Disney World with a guest who has food allergies, there are several steps you can take to ensure a safe - and delicious - dining experience!

You can start when making your Dining Reservations. There will be a box you can check indicating that a food allergy needs to be addressed during your meal. When you arrive for your table service meal, let your server know there is a food allergy. He/she can assist you or you can speak directly with the chef.

At Quick Service locations, tell the Cast Member of the food allergy. He/she will be happy to provide a list of ingredients, or again, will direct you to the chef for details of the food preparation.

Before even leaving home, read through the information regarding Special Dietary Requests which might answer some of your questions. You may also want to send an email to special.diets@disneyworld.com. Include your name and phone number so a Cast Member can get in touch with you.

The entire team will work together to find appropriate meals to fit your diet. Cast Members are very familiar with food allergies and will be happy to assist.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
