I would like to talk to someone about past plans and new plans. We had plans for 45th anniversary. Had to cancel. Now planning our 50th anniversary. Want to make it special.

    Hiya, Robert! Welcome to planDisney!

Though I'm so very sad that you had to cancel your 45th anniversary trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth, I'm delighted to hear that you're planning to celebrate an even more monumental occasion, your 50th anniversary, at the Walt Disney World Resort! I might be known as one of our more stoic planDisney panelists, but your act of true love has thawed this frozen heart already!

Well, now that we've had that moment, I'd be happy to "let it go" and share some ideas to help make the occasion magical for you and that special someone! First, Walt Disney World offers a whole host of Enchanting Extras to add to your stay. The one that screams romance to me is a Ferrytale Dessert and Fireworks Cruise. You'll be welcomed by delicious treats, specialty drinks and unparalleled views of Magic Kingdom Park's Nighttime Spectacular, Disney Enchantment. If you're more of a glass-slippers-on-the-ground kind of person, you could book a dessert party at Magic Kingdom Park instead, like Disney Enchantment Treats & Seats, where you'll have a reserved section with more space to relax and watch the show while still enjoying those tasty bites and refreshments.

Another idea would be to book a signature dining reservation, like California Grill or Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. Though a bit pricier than your average Walt Disney World Restaurant, the ambiance of the signature dining locations is perfect to commemorate 50 years of love! Dress up, enjoy those warm hugs and chow down on a well-deserved meal together! Advance dining reservations can be made 60 days before your arrival date and I do suggest booking these meals sooner rather than later to guarantee your spot!

If you're anything like Anna and "want to stuff some chocolate in your face," you could add a Mickey Celebration Cake to your dining experience at participating restaurants. Just make a note when you make the reservation and you'll have a delicious treat made for celebrating!

Robert, Disney Floral and Gifts is another fabulous option to add a little more magic to your stay. They offer celebration baskets, flowers, balloons and other special gifts delivered directly to your Disney Resort Hotel. I personally love a surprise delivery, so if you want to add that extra pixie-dust, this is one way to do it!

No matter what you choose to do, the thought and care you're putting into your trip already shows your partner just how important this occasion is to you! May all your dreams come true, Robert, and just remember, "some people are worth melting for."

Cheers to your happily ever after,

    Ashley
