I would like to talk to someone about the best small trip packages.

Hi Deidre! Welcome to planDisney! I’m happy to provide some helpful tips to get you started with your planning. In your question, you mentioned a “small trip package.” So, let’s think about some strategies for a short stay at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

The first place I want to direct you to is the money-saving deals available for people looking to visit! When you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort website, hover your mouse over the heading that states, “Places to Stay.” When the dropdown menu appears, you’ll want to click on “View Special Offers.” Once you do that, you’ll see all the offers on packages that are currently available!

If you find that the special offers don’t quite fit what you’re looking for, you can also “custom build” your vacation package on the website. You’ll start by entering your preferred vacation dates. Then you’ll be able to select a resort that best meets your budget. There are value, moderate, and deluxe resorts! In the value range, I recommend Disney’s Art of Animation Resort or Disney’s Contemporary Resort. In the moderate range, I recommend either Disney’s Coronado Springs Resorts Gran Destino Tower or Disney’s Port Orleans Resort French Quarter. And, in the deluxe range I recommend Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa or Disney’s Riviera Resort! If you’d like more specific recommendations about resorts, feel free to send some more questions to planDisney! My fellow panelists and I would be happy to provide additional information to help you narrow your search!

Finally, since you mentioned a “small trip package” I’m guessing that you will not be spending multiple days in the parks. So, I suggest selecting your favorite park or two that you most want to enjoy! There are four Disney Parks – Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park! Each park is so unique and appealing to different interests that Guests might have. From attractions, unique experiences, dining options, and opportunities to meet favorite characters, each park offers something magical for every Guest. If you have an idea of something specific that you’d like to experience, please let us know by sending another question and we’ll be able to let you know which park(s) you might most enjoy during your stay!

Deirdre, from resorts, to parks, to dining experiences, send us any questions on your mind! We'll help you narrow down your options!

    Happy planning!
