Hi Gary,
Welcome to planDisney!
I am delighted to see that you are making plans to visit the magic! To make that reservation, I suggest that you
contact a Cast Member using the phone directory. If you would like to make room requests, the Cast Member should also be able to note those requests for you.
If you have not done so already, review the
Disney Resorts Collection and decide which resort hotel you would prefer. Consider the amenities offered at each and transportation options. We enjoy being able to walk to Magic Kingdom from
Disney's Contemporary Resort and
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Since these resorts, along with Disney's Polynesian Village Resort also have access to
Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation, we have easy access to EPCOT as well.
Since you are planning for a larger party, also plan to make
advanced dining reservations. There are several restaurants that can accommodate your party, but you may have to split your party into two groups of four to make reservations. Just be sure to have different people as lead Guests on the reservations. My family loves advanced dining reservations, but we do also use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering.
Gary, your planning skills seem superb. Having planned for larger groups in the past, I am sending you some extra pixie dusted patience trusting that you can keep your crew together in the planning process. With groups, I have learned that we can split up and enjoy different attractions during the day but come together for a meal to laugh about each day's adventures!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
