Is there any talk about Disney bringing back the Jedi training they had for kids a few years back?

    Hiya Donald!

Welcome to planDisney! I cherish my memory of my youngling participating in the Jedi Training Academy in Disney's Hollywood Studios. I remember he froze, glared at Darth Vader, and refused to fight him. It was hilarious and I wonder if that is when he gave his allegiance to The Dark Side.

Unfortunately, there has been no interstellar communication regarding when or if this experience will ever return. It is disappointing as it was so much fun and very memorable. You can still have the whole family fitted in the finest Jedi or Sith gear by visiting Black Spire Outfitters. With my little ones, I have found an affordable lightsaber option at Tatooine Traders. It fits perfectly in your suitcase and is pretty durable. You can select your hilt and colors to personalize it and they extend when swung. When they are ready I will one day give them a chance to make a fancy lightsaber at Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers at the Walt Disney World Resort. This is a very special experience that requires an advanced reservation which can be made 60 days before you arrive. It is a beautiful and meaningful experience that I recommend only for older kids and adults. These lightsabers are not "battle-friendly."

I am sorry I don't have more news for you but I hope this helps!

    Happy Planning!
