Hi Cynthia!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Epcot's World Showcase is host to some amazing restaurants, giving us a flavour of the countries they are representing. The stunning new dining location,
Takumi-Tei Restaurant, located in the Japan pavilion - does not accept any
Disney Dining Plans at this time, but I recommend that you keep checking back because sometimes this can change.
Have a look at the menu here - it sounds delicious! Dining reservations are highly recommended, and can be made up to 180 days in advance, online or by using your
My Disney Experience app. If you wish to find out if any Walt Disney World restaurants accept the Disney Dining Plans, go to the
restaurant list here, select your chosen location, and then you can click on 'Some Dining Plans Accepted' to see how many credits are required. If it says 'Dining Plans Not Accepted', that is self-explanatory. Other restaurants in the Japan pavilion that do accept the Disney Dining Plans are
Teppan Edo (one Table-Service credit for lunch or dinner);
Tokyo Dining (one Table-Service credit for lunch or dinner);
Katsura Grill (Quick-Service restaurant that requires no reservations).
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World, and keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news and updates on any events that may be happening during your stay.
