Taking11yo g & 4yo b to The World in April 5 days at the park i see you say you limit your kids to $25 is that per day or trip? I'm budgeting $20 a day but if I can do less without taking away from the fun I will add another day in the parks every $ co

    Hi there Sylvonne,

Thanks so much for writing!  How exciting that your vacation is just weeks away!   I just happen to be at Walt Disney World right now with my two boys.  This trip, I decided to give them each a Disney gift card (that I picked up at my grocery store before leaving) and let them "manage" their own souvenir purchases.  Our trip is 7 days, and I've given each kid a $100 gift card that I expect them to use for toys, arcade games, etc.  So far it's worked really well. We leave tomorrow, and both still have money left on their cards. They love The Great Piggy Bank Adventure at Innoventions at Epcot, and I decided to tie the gift card concept to what they've learned about managing money on the attraction.  I'm thinking of using this "system" going forward.  They have enjoyed taking ownership for their purchases and budgeting.

I hope this helps!  Have a magical trip!
