I am taking my 4 yr. old grandson to Disney for 5 days on Mar. 1, 2010 & staying at the Contemporary. We are planning breakfast with Ch. Mickey. What other Character meals would be appropriate for him? Easy to get to from the Contemp? Thank you

    Hi Carol,

What an awesome grandmother you are!  You and your grandson will have a fantastic time and so many memories to share together.

Chef Mickey's is a fantastic choice and one of the most popular character meals at Disney World. Depending on who your grandson's favorite Disney pals are, two of my boys' favorite character meals are 'Ohana at the Polynesian (featuring Lilo and Stitch) and Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom (featuring Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet). Both of these locations are easily accessible by the monorail.

If you are headed into the parks for your meals, he may also enjoy Hollywood and Vine at Hollywood Studios. The Little Einsteins and various other Playhouse Disney pals are big hits here with the younger kids. If he is a Chip and Dale fan be sure to visit the Garden Grill inside The Land Pavilion at Epcot and inside Animal Kingdom we absolutely love hanging with Donald Duck at Donald's Safari Breakfast.

If you go to www.allears.net under the dining section you will be able to see some great information regarding the character meal choices. Remember you can make your reservations 180 days in advance by calling 407-939-3463,

Hope you have an amazing time!
