Taking a 5 and 7 yr old for first trip and want to stay in Moderate. Are considering Coronoda or Caribbean and would like to hear any opinions out there. Thanks

    Hi Kathy,

How exciting to be planning your first trip.

While the Caribbean Beach Resort has a fun pool, it is too large for my liking. I spent a lot of time waiting on the Internal Shuttle to take me to the pool and food court area. In addition, at the end of a long day, having to make multiple stops at each "village" was not ideal.

The Coronado Springs is beautiful, but it is known as a "convention resort". A lot of business people tend to stay there. It is also very large.

I have to say that my favorite Moderate resort is actually Port Orleans French Quarter. This is the smallest of the Moderates. There is a great sea-serpent water slide in the fun pool area. In addition, you can use the facilities at Port Orleans Riverside. If you are traveling with little girls, you may want to book a "Royal Room" at Port Orleans Riverside. These are great for little Princess fans.

Hope this helps and that you have a wonderful vacation. Please let us know if we can assist you further,
