Taking our 3yr old to DW Feb 2nd- 7th. Plan on spending 1/2 day in a park on (Super Bowl) Sunday. Should we go to HS or AK? Which is better for a half day, if we want to get as much in as possible? Both have ext. hours and we won't visit that park again?

Hi Jeanna! Both parks are wonderful and not to be missed if possible but my family enjoys the Animal Kingdom on days when we know we can't spend an entire day in a park. We arrive early and do the main attractions that we love and then stop for lunch at Flametree Barbecue. We love sitting down the path by the water and relax for a while before we head back to finish up our attraction choices. Flametree is our favorite eating spot in this park including over all the table service locations. Because it is quick service it saves time and if you choose to eat around 11/11:30 when it opens you can beat the lines and enjoy a relaxing lunch.

Be sure and get your fastpasses ahead of time if they have the Fastpass+ system in place. The top popular attractions include the Safari ride, Lion King show, Dinosaur, Expedition Everest, and a Bugs Life. Fit those into your plans and add some of the other great things to do and you should be able to enjoy the park and still have time to head home to cheer your team on. Of course I hope it is your team playing on that day. I have a team I am hoping to see as well but it is early in the season and lots of games to play. None the less enjoy the great Super Bowl Sunday!
