I am taking my 5 yr old to Disney this weekend ( check in Jan 7) for his 6th birthday. We are starting his bday at Chef Mickeys however I want to make the day as special as possible. What extra adventures can we sign up for that aren't cost prohibitive

    Hi Stacey!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Chef Mickey's is the perfect place to start a birthday celebration! He is going to love it.

I have two links that I would like to point you to for celebration ideas:
    1. Disney Floral and Gifts has a ton of fabulous ways to make a celebration special and their products can be delivered anywhere on Walt Disney World property.

    2.  My friend and fellow Moms Panelist, Cathy, recently answered a similar question and she had some AMAZING ideas for inexpensive ways to celebrate a birthday.  Please be sure to read her answer at that link for some great inspiration.

Lastly, if you're planning to visit Disney's Magic Kingdom Park, be sure to stop by Town Square Theater to meet Mickey Mouse! This Mickey is very special and can even give a birthday greeting to your son.

I hope this helps. I know your trip will be here soon, so please let me know if you have any other questions!
