Hello, Evelyn! We took my son to Walt Disney World last year to celebrate his 'double digit' birthday. On occasion guest have been chosen to be a parade Grand Marshal. You never know, but this is an extremely rare situation as Guests are chosen randomly. There are still so many ways to celebrate her next decade at Walt Disney World. First thing is first - grab a birthday button when you check into your resort or visit Guest Relations when you enter your first Theme Park. Cast Members, Characters, and even other Guest will know what you are celebrating and many will wish your princess a very happy birthday. She will feel like royalty all day! Nothing is promised or expected, but my son did have a little extra Pixie dust scattered his way on his birthday. Cast Members are always incredibly wonderful but many took a little extra time and it meant so much to my not-so-little prince! When we arrived at our hotel, I sent my son and husband away to explore the resort. My younger son and I then decorated our hotel room with some Mickey birthday decorations that we brought from home. He was so surprised and loved the little extra touch. You can also contact Disney Floral & Gifts before your trip and they can work even more magic! You can even order a special birthday cake by calling the Cake Hotline at 407-827-2253. At the end of the day, when I asked my son if he had a good birthday he said, "Of course!". When I asked him his favorite part, he truly touched my heart. His answer - "Spending the day playing and having fun with you and dad." Evelyn, have a magical and wonderful day with your princess! Have fun, and be a kid - enjoy every moment!
