Taking our 8 yr old daughter to DW for the first time 2/25-3/1. Wondering how the weather is this time of year? Will it be cold at night? Also, what are the "must see/do" things for a girl this age? We could not get a reservation at the castle :(

    HOWDY Juli!!

SO nice to see another Texan!  As you can imagine late February/early March in Texas is very much like the weather in Florida (barring you're not in the panhandle of Texas).  Generally, in this period, the temperatures are beginning to rise, but a re-enforcing push of cold air cannot be ruled out.  Average lows are in the low 50s, and highs average the low to mid 70s, so I'd make sure pants and light jackets were packed.

I'm sorry you weren't able to secure a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table!  Have you tried booking at Akershus Royal Dining Hall?  It is another chance to meet and dine with Disney Royalty, and while it's not the castle, it would still give your daughter the chance for a 'princess meal.'

I'd also suggest Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for her.  It's the ULTIMATE experience for any little princess.  If you're interested, I'd suggest calling (407) WDW-STYLE to make an appointment, and keep in mind, there are 2 locations.  One in Magic Kingdom, and another in Downtown Disney.  The one at Downtown Disney tends to be less busy.

I hope you have a MAGICAL vacation!
