We are taking our 5 yr and 9 mo old to WDW for the 1st time. It has been yrs for both of us as well. I have booked our ADR and 3 are 2TS meals Hoop-Dee-Doo, Fulton's, & Mickey's BBQ. Which is the best way to maximize our dining plan? We r staying 7 ni

Welcome back to the happiest place on earth! Be prepared to have a blast singing along to the music in "it's a small world", eating Mickey ice cream, and meeting Disney princesses. Your five year old is a wonderful age to enjoy the magic of Walt Disney World.

To maximize your Disney Dining Plan table service credits, consider dropping one of your two credit meals and paying for that meal out of pocket since your current reservations require six of your seven entitlements on only three meals. Lunch at Fulton's Crab House, which includes some less expensive options and some reasonable kid choices, would be a good choice for your out of pocket meal. I love the dinner shows you have chosen; both are fun for children and parents. If budgeting is your priority, however, you might want to attend only one. This frees up two table service entitlements for a character breakfast at Chef Mickey's or the Crystal Palace and a dinner at a unique dining spot such as Disney's Hollywood Studios' 50's Prime Time Cafe or Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. Of course if your wish is to experience the dinner shows just keep your ADRs for Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

I hope you have some wonderful meals at Walt Disney World. Please contact me if you have any additional questions about dining or any other aspect of planning your trip.
