I will be taking my 2 young grandsons to disney in Oct. I have them booked for the pirate makeover but is there anything else that would be special for boys....they aren't into princesses! They are 5 and 3!

    Yo ho, yo ho:

Pirates are big in my household, which also has two young boys, so great idea to make reservations at The Pirates League. You boys will go into The Pirates League civilians and leave as pirates with new pirate names, a pirate look, a pirate oath, and some sweet new swashbuckling maneuvers.

If your boys are anything like mine, they need to be kept ACTIVE at all times.  If you are planning to spend at least several days at Walt Disney World, consider stopping by one of Disney's themed water parks, either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon, for some active and thrilling water-based fun.  Keep your boys active outside of the Parks with some miniature golf and watercraft rentals.

Consider a non-princess character meal, such as Chef Mickey's, where your family can enjoy dining with Mickey, Goofy, Donald and pals while enjoying a delicious all-you-can-enjoy buffet. Speaking of dining, another great dining option my boys love is the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Hoop-Dee-Doo is a vaudeville-style dinner show with a country twist. Dinner is served family style and includes favorites like fried chicken, smoked bbq pork ribs, fresh corn bread, strawberry shortcake and the most delicious country-style baked beans I have ever tasted.

You'll find a large number activities to keep you and your boys happy on your vacation.
