Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jamie! You’re in the right place for trip planning advice and ideas! I have a young son that is all about pirates, Star Wars and action adventure!
I would highly recommend the
Pirate Story rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. These jolly roger packed resort rooms are thrilling while at the same time giving you a chance to rest your head. You may also want to sign your little guy up for a haircut or style at the Harmony Barber Shop, where guests of any age can get styled by professionals and be topped off with plenty of pirate and pixie dust to shine all day long. Your little adventurer will, of course, love rides like Peter Pan’s Flight, Pirates of the Caribbean, and maybe even the jungle cruise with plenty of animatronics and great “dad” jokes. If he is as big of a Star Wars Fan as my son is, Hollywood Studios is a great place to get a furry hug from Chewie and “bleep bloop” with BB-8. Afterwards, you can get your wiggles out by singing and dancing along with the interactive
Disney Junior LIVE stage show. My favorite lunch stop in the same park is the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre, where your family can sit in “cars” and dine together under the stars (you’re still inside!) and watch sci-fi cartoons and clips. If you’re planning on activity centers, I recommend Lilo’s Playhouse, located at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. It’s a charming, center where kids can play, meet characters, eat and craft. The entire place is crafted as if Lili is reading Golden Books to Stitch. He will love it!
If I can help to prep more special memories for your family, please let me know. Yo, ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me! ~ Lindsey P.
