Taking 3-year-old son January 10, 2010. Down to two choices for night #1: Chef Mickey's and then Downtown Disney or go on Pirate and Pals. My biggest worry about cruise is how late this will last; bedtime is usually 8:30 ET and getting up early next A.M.

Hi, Alice!  While both options sound like a lot of fun, I would choose the Chef Mickey's/Downtown Disney option.   This will be a great opportunity for your son to meet Mickey and all his pals, then a nice relaxing evening at Downtown Disney.    With a busy vacation ahead of you, I like to take it easy on the first night so you are ready to roll the next morning.   The fireworks cruise would also be fun, but might just be too late of a night for you.

I am happy to hear you are keeping your son on his schedule.   Our little mouseketeers get tired easily, and the more they get rest and keep on their routine the more fun they'll have in the parks.   Have a great vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
