We are taking our 6 year old and 1 1/2 year old in May. Will my 1 1/2 year old be able to do much at the water parks?

    Hi Ashley,

We all know Walt Disney World is the place where every one can be a kids, especially kids!!

The Water Parks are definitely designed to accommodate the younger kids. At Blizzard Beach Tikes Peak is a toddler area where I have seen little ones literally get pulled away kicking and screaming. There are little slides, ankle deep pond, and a little waterfall. The little ones love it. There is Teamboat Springs, a family waterslide that is not scary and is long enough for families to have a conversation. The minimum of 4 riders per raft will be perfect for you.You will all enjoy this water slide.

Typhoon Lagoon also has a toddler area that is loved by the  little ones.  Ketchakiddee Creek is kiddie water park all by itself. It has low bubbly fountains, ankle deep streams and slip and slides. This is an extremely popular area because it has many shady areas for just relaxing. It often gets very crowded in this area of the waterpark. Many families have some together time while building sand castles.

My favorite for the toddlers is Typhoon Lagoon's Ketchakiddee Creek. It ends up finding many of the older kids there too which will be great for your kids, they are perfect age to play together for a while.

I hope this was helpful to let your memories begin. Have a magical stay!
