We are taking our 3 year old to WDW for the first time in October and plan on visiting MK and AK. Can you please provide some insight on best WDW hotels for a 3 yr old, keeping in mind transportation to and from MK and AK? Thanks so much!

    Hi there, Lindsay!

Congratulations on your plans to visit Walt Disney World in October of this year!  First off, let me start out by saying that all Disney Resorts provide guests with transportation to all the parks.  Take a look at the link I provided you to determine which resort category best fits your budget.  There is a place for everyone with Value, Moderate and Deluxe level accommodations to choose from.  Keep in mind that Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Magic Kingdom Park are not near each other.  If you want to be close to Magic Kingdom, I recommend staying at one of the resorts along the Disney Monorail line or Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  At the DIsney Resorts link, choose "Magic Kingdom Area" under 'Resort Location."   Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is adjacent to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and it's stunning.  Once you get a better idea on budget, feel free to write back to me with more planning questions.  I would be happy to make recommendations to best fit your needs.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
