    I am taking my 4 and 6 year old to Typhoon Lagoon in May of 2016 and was wondering if they carry life jackets or if we need to bring our own?

    Hi, Terri! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    My boys love Typhoon Lagoon! We really like having a Water Park day half-way through our Walt Disney World Resort vacation. There are life vests of various sizes for children available at no additional charge. They can typically be found near the seating areas.

    A little mom tip I like share - be sure to bring water shoes along for everyone, even the little ones. You still do quite a bit of walking, and the sand and pavement areas get quite toasty! I also do not enjoy the idea of walking barefoot where many others have before me. You will be thankful you have these along.
