Hi, April!
Your boys are at the perfect ages to make the most of a Disney Cruise. You'll be amazed at all there is to see and do on the ship, as well as when you visit some awesome ports. Grand Cayman is the perfect spot for some splashtacular fun! With plenty of Port Adventures to choose from, you're sure to find one that your boys will enjoy.
One of my favorites is
Boatswain's Adventure Marine Park. A 20-minue scenic bus ride away, Boatswain's is a beautiful shore-side park, full of exotic animals and fun activities. Caymans Turtle Farm is home to over 11,000 sea turtles, some of which weigh up to 600 lbs! There's a really fun photo op where you can hold baby sea turtles - how cool is that? You can also swim with the turtles in Breakers Lagoon, or visit Boatswain's Lagoon where you can view hundreds of tropical fish. Lunch is included, as well as snorkel equipment. Boatswain's Park Port Adventure is packed full of fun, with lots to entertain your young sons.
If your boys are interested in interacting with a dolphin, I recommend the
Dolphin Encounter and Stingray City. Dolphin Cove has a nature trail, a "touch tank" (where you can hold a wide variety of sea creatures), and a dolphin habitat. You'll be able to touch and interact with dolphins from a submerged platform. After your dolphin visit, you'll take a boat to the world-famous Stingray City, where you can interact with hundreds of these amazing creatures!
There are lots of other Port Adventures available to you, these are just some of my favorites! I encourage you to check them all out, and decide which is the perfect fit for your day in Grand Cayman.
Hope this helps! - Diane W.
