hello i am taking my 2 year old son to Mk in july this is his first trip to disney.i want to do character dining but i wasn't sure if we have to stay at one of the resorts to do this .and if we can do it where do you suggest.thank you

    Hi Danielle,

I get so excited when I hear it's a first time trip to Disney!  You do not have to be a resort guest to enjoy character dining.  If you're in Magic Kingdom I would suggest Crystal Palace Restaurant.  Winnie the Pooh and his friends are there making rounds, signing autographs and posing for pictures.

Another very popular character dining experience is Chef Mickey's at The Contemporary.  Mickey and his friends are there and they are so much fun!

Here are a list of character dining experiences offered at Walt Disney World.  Your vacation is coming up very soon and it's the busiest time of year there.  Please call (407)WDW-DINE to make your reservations.  You may have to grab whatever time is available just to make sure you get into one of them, but it will be worth it.

Have a magical time on your vacation!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
