Hi Shelby!
You might be surprised at just how much your 2 year old Prince will remember his trip to Walt Disney World! Nonetheless, he'll provide YOU with amazing memories during your stay that will surely last your family a lifetime! My daughter's first visit was at 23 months, so I can absolutely relate to your need for shorter waits and bus rides having learned myself back then.
If you'd like to be as centrally and conveniently located as possible, have shorter walks around the resort for little legs or stroller pushing, and even a few added conveniences and perks, I know
just the place for you to consider!
At the moderate resort level,
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is quaint, beautiful and somewhat of a 'hidden gem' as far as less expensive resorts go. It's my #1 Pick at the moderate level. Since there's just one bus stop at the resort, the bus won't already be busy when you board with your little one and since it's quite centrally located on the property, you'll find that the bus rides to the parks are never too long at all!
The pool area is fabulously themed and the food court offers great selections and some decadent treats like beignets! Mmmmm ... they are a
MUST!
Top it all off with the extra perk of being located on a waterway, complete with boat transportation to the shops and restaurants of Downtown Disney! You just can't beat this one for its reasonable price.
Thanks for visiting the Walt Disney World Moms Panel Shelby. I hope you'll visit again if I can assist you further with the planning of your Magical vacation!
