We are taking my 14 year old son and his friend to WDW in 3 weeks. We have purchased the Dining Plan. How can we give them independence but make sure they don't use all of the meals/snacks in one day?

    Hi Lisa,

I'm sorry to tell you this, but they could potentially use the whole families meals and snacks in one day.  All of your cards will be linked.  Each time a card is used, it takes away from the pooled meals.  For example, a family of four staying 6 nights will start off with 24 table service, 24 counter service, and 24 snacks.

At any time, you can go up to any cashier and ask for your dining plan balance to be printed out.  I'm sure the boys will follow the rules if they know they will lose their independence if they are irresponsible.
