Welcome to planDisney, Duff!
How exciting that your young will be coming to Disneyland for the first time in forever! I know he'll have a "practically perfect time in every way." There is so much for little ones to see and experience.
When you go to Disney California Adventure Park, make sure you take him on the
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Grizzly Peak. He'll be able to run around, explore the great outdoors, and have so much fun. When you visit Disneyland Park, board a raft and take him over to
Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island. He'll adore exploring the many nooks and crannies and searching for the hidden treasure.
Duff, my little Mouseketeers are also big fans of WALL-E. It's such a wonderful movie! However, unfortunately, WALL-E is not currently meeting Guests are the Disneyland Resort. I know that's not the news you wanted to hear. There are many other beloved Disney characters to meet though. If he loves robots, then take him to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. There are plenty of cool-looking droids hanging around! My son was also mesmerized when he got to meet Lightning and McQueen, Mater, and Cruz in
Cars Land. He also loved meeting Winnie the Pooh and Tigger at 'Pooh's Thotful Spot' outside
Pooh Corner in
Critter Country. And, of course, Mickey and his pals are always around to say "Hi."
A helpful tool is the
Disneyland Mobile App. When you arrive at Disneyland Park, simply open up the app, tap the location symbol (the second symbol at the bottom), and from the drop-down menu, select "Characters." You'll then find all the different character greetings that are currently available.
I hope that's helpful, Duff. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney.
Mike
