Hi Amber! Congratulations on your upcoming trip. You will have a wonderful time!
Your vacation looks like it will be plenty long enough for you to experience all 4 of the Disney Parks. Magic Kingdom and Epcot usually take the longest do explore, but Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom are loads of fun too! My suggestion is to make your dining reservations on
Disney World's website or call 407-WDW-DINE and then plan your parks around your restaurant choices. Some of our favorite dining places are Chef Mickey's (a must do!) with characters, Donald's Safari Breakfast (this is at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom), Tepan Edo (this is in the Japanese pavilion in Epcot), and Garden Grill at Epcot.
Sit down with your son on the dining reservation link and let him look through the different restaurant choices. Then you can either call or make your reservations online. After getting those, you can also make
customized maps from all of the Disney parks so that your son can choose the attractions that he knows he wants to do at each park.
As for planning your days, if you have dining reservations at a place in Epcot, you should plan your day to explore Epcot around your dining schedule. If you are eating at Chef Mickey's (in the Contemporary Resort), then maybe you could spend that day at Magic Kingdom then take the monorail to Contemporary (your son will LOVE the monorail!) Planning your days before you go will really ensure that you have lots of time to soak up the magic! Enjoy your trip!
