I will be taking my 2 year old son to Disney in May. I plan to book Chef Mickey breakfast but could you recommend any other experiences he would enjoy? He is not scared of the characters and his favorites are Mickey, Jake, Henry Hugglemonster.

Hi Tina! How exciting to be taking a magical trip with your son this summer! I just returned from a trip with my 2-year-old son and he also loved the character dining experiences.  There are so many fun ones, but I will name just a couple that we really enjoyed as a family.

Chef Mickey's is a great place to run into the "Fab Five."   Mickey is my son's favorite!  We also really enjoyed the Junior Play 'n Dine breakfast or lunch buffet at the Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios.  At the end of January, they are scheduled to update the characters you may meet to include: Sofia the First, Jake the Neverland pirate, Handy Manny and Doc McStuffins. For dinner, we love The Garden Grill in Epcot's Future World. My kids love that the restaurant slowly rotates giving you great views of the Living with the Land attraction. They also love interacting with Chip and Dale and other favorite characters while enjoying the baked macaroni and cheese (their favorite meal!)

Have a wonderful adventure and please let me know should you need more recommendations or have any other questions.

    Have a magical trip!

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
