I am taking my 4 1/2 year old niece to Disney world this month. We will be staying at the Contemporary Hotel. While she is a pretty good swimmer with a life vest, I find myslef nervous about letting her ride the waterslide alone. Can she ride in my lap?

    Hi Brandy!!!

I absolutely love Disney's Contemporary Resort!!!  It is so convenient to be so close to the Magic Kingdom!!

Unfortunately, you will not be able to ride down the slide with your niece.  I just asked this again on a recent Walt Disney World Vacation and was told that only one person can go at a time.  The lifeguards will let you wait a little closer to the slide at the bottom to grab your niece as soon as she hits the water.  I did this with my four year old last month and I was able to get him within just a few seconds of hitting the water.

Please let me know if you have any other questions about a Walt Disney World Vacation with a four year old!!!

    Have a magical trip!!
