I am taking my 75 year old Mother to the Epcot center. Do you think older people will enjoy it? We won't be doing rides but it seems that there is alot to see. Thanks!

    Hi Diane!

My mother and I took a 3-generation trip to Disney World with my then 70 year old grandmother. It was a different Disney experience than I'd ever had--but a very special one!

We picked Epcot because we knew my grandmother would like the World Showcase. It was a perfect pace, to walk through each country and look at the shops, the view and sample the food. Also, just walking around outside of Future World is a beautiful adventure--there are so many flowers and such nice landscape, it's a treat!

My suggestion would be if you can pick any date, go during the Food & Wine Festival which is October 1-November 14, 2010 or the Flower & Garden Festival (my fave!) which is usually in May. There is always extra stuff to do and more decor, more food and just MORE!

Don't forget--if your mother needs assistance, there are wheelchairs or ECV's available to rent--we did the ECV and it was perfect!

Enjoy your magical vacation with your Mother---it will be a special memory for years to come!
