Hi, I am taking my 2 year old to magic kingdom. I purchased a ticket for myself and made a reservation. But I am unable to book a reservation for my LO. How do I do that? And does he need a passport to get in?

Hey there, Zhijun, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question. It’s never too early for your little Mouseketeer to experience The Walt Disney World Resort! Walt Disney World has done a fantastic job of intentionally creating spaces for even the youngest Guests.

Zhijun, Resort Guests under three do not require a ticket to experience the Theme Parks with you. Since no ticket is required, there is no need to book a park reservation for your little one. Only ticketed Guests need to reserve their space in the parks through the reservation system. Additionally, Walt Disney World does not require formal documentation to prove the age of your little one. In my experience, our family has never had any issues with our Disney Vacations even with tall toddlers. On his first visit to Disney, my then two-year-old toddler was already clearing 42 inches and boarding attractions. I’m confident in saying that you won’t need to carry around a passport or any proof of age for your little one once you make it to the resort.

I hope this helps, Zhijun! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know
