Hi! We are taking our 2 & 1 year old kids to Disney. We have the 2-Day ticket w/ admission to 1 park/day; we also purchased tickets for MVMCP. If we do the Magic Kingdom & MVMCP on different days, can we still fastpass to the MVMCP early?

Hey, Brook! This is a great question, so I am glad you stopped by to chat with us! In my experience, we have been allowed to enter Magic Kingdom Park with our Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets as early as 4:00 p.m. Since the party does not officially begin until later that evening, you can take the opportunity to hop on a few of your favorite attractions and grab some dinner before the merriment starts. Please note that this early admission is not guaranteed, but if it does happen the day you attend, then hurray for the pixie dust!

When I have attended this party, I have been able to make FastPass+ selections for that time period between early admission and the beginning of the party. However, and this is a pretty big "however," there is one thing you need to be aware of when making those FastPass+ selections. Guests are only able to make in advance up to three FastPass+ selections per day. If you plan to visit one of the theme parks the morning of the party, then you will need to choose whether you want your FastPass+ selections to be in that first spot or later at Magic Kingdom Park before the party begins. The My Disney Experience system will not allow you to make three FastPass+ selection for both parts of your day even though each set of selections will be associated with different ticket types.

If your itinerary allows, then I recommend that you use your Disney Theme Park Tickets and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets on three separate days. This would give you some time to sleep in on the party day, enjoy your resort pool, or maybe even visit Disney Springs for a great lunch. Let your little ones (and you!) get a good nap in before the party begins. Doing this would allow you to make FastPass+ selections for the time that you may be admitted early to Magic Kingdom Park.

I hope this information helps you plan a very merry day at Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions.
