We are taking our 6 year old granddaughter to Disney in June. She loves the Disney princesses. I heard she could get a Princess makeover. Where do I find this to make a reservation, and is it worth doing for her?

Hi, Teri! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

If your granddaughter loves Disney Princesses, then you are certainly going to the right place! Princess makeovers are available at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, where your granddaughter will get her very own Fairy Godmother-in-Training! There are a few different packages available where she will choose a hairstyle then add make-up, nail color, accessories, and even a costume if you’d like! I usually bring a Princess dress from home. Keep in mind that there are two locations, one is in Disney Springs and would not require a Disney Theme Park ticket, and the other is at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park. We like to get the makeover as early as possible in Magic Kingdom Park so that our Princess can parade in it all day long. We also try to fit in a meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table and meet the Disney Princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall. Since we usually purchase Memory Maker, we are able to download many of these beautiful memories right to our Smart Phones and share instantly with family back home using the My Disney Experience mobile app! If you were to ask my 6-year old if it was worth it, she wouldn’t hesitate to say YES, and I think the same!

I suggest making your reservation as early as possible as they do tend to fill quickly. You can book your magical makeover up to 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-STYLE or (407) 939-7895.

    Have a magical time!
