I am taking my 17 year old and her friend to Disney next month but I am not planning to go to the parks with them. Is there anywhere to drop them off at the theme parks? If so can they ride the moneral to magic kingdom from the MK parking lot monerals?

Hi, Allen!  Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am so excited to hEAR that your daughter and her friend will soon be visiting Walt Disney World Resort!  I was about the same age as your daughter the first time I visited Walt Disney World Resort on a high school band trip.  My friends and I had a blast exploring the Most Magical Place on Earth together!  Just like my friends and me, I'm sure your daughter and her friend will make memories to treasure for yEARs to come.

If you want to drop your daughter and her friend off at the theme parks, you can follow signs to the pick-up and drop-off areas for ride-sharing services.  At Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, the pick-up and drop-off areas are fairly close to the park entrances.  When traveling to and from Magic Kingdom Park, guests need to be dropped off and picked up at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC).  The Transportation and Ticket Center is also where parking for Magic Kingdom Park is located.  From the Transportation and Ticket Center, your daughter and her friend will be able to take the Monorail or a Ferryboat over to Magic Kingdom Park.

As you get ready for your daughter's visit, be sure to check out these great Disney Parks Moms Panel tips for teens.  See ya real soon!
