Hi there, Janell!
Thanks for visiting me with your question about exploring the Disneyland Resort with toddlers. Did you know children under the age of 3 get free admission to both theme parks? However, they can still enjoy many attractions, shows, parades and other experiences offered at the resort!
If there's no minimum height requirement at an attraction or it is advertised as for “all ages,” then it’s safe for your son to ride! There are even a few he may be tall enough for, like
Autopia or Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters, which have a minimum requirement of only 32 inches. Some favorite attractions the whole family can experience together in Disneyland Park are “it’s a small world,” Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan’s Flight, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters and Pirates of the Caribbean. In Disney California Adventure Park, a big hit for little ones is
Disney Junior Dance Party!, an high-energy, interactive performance packed with musical fun and favorite characters from shows like Doc McStuffins and Mickey and the Roadster Racers.
A must-do is Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park! You’ll feel like you stepped right into a scene from the movie. Grab a diner-inspired meal at
Flo’s V8 Cafe and take a seat overlooking the Radiator Springs Racers attraction. Pay close attention to the Cadillac Mountain Range as you watch the cars zoom by—the six range peaks represent Cadillac tail fins from 1957-1962! I hope this helps, Janell, and that you have a wonderful visit to the Happiest Place on Earth with your little Mouseketeer!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
