Hi Brahim, and Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by and asking this great question!
As a mom of a teenage daughter, I can relate to the importance of taking photos and I have a few suggestions for your doing this at The Happiest Place on Earth.
Capture Your Moment photo sessions were just announced for the Disneyland Resort and these sessions are available beginning on your arrival date. These photo sessions take place at
Disneyland Park and you would have a 20-minute photo session with a
Disney PhotoPass photographer. You can check
here for reservations. If the dates you check are booked, I would recommend checking again about 24 hours before the date you wish to reserve in case there are last-minute cancellations. Same-day bookings may be available and I would suggest you check with Guest Services at Disneyland as soon as you arrive that day.
My daughter wanted the balloon photo you mentioned and we took that photo last summer. A Cast Member let my daughter hold the balloons, but they will also be holding onto the bunch and are good about stepping out of view. While there is no guarantee that a Disney PhotoPass photographer can take the photo, you could take it with your camera or mobile device. The most likely place to find a Cast Member with a bunch of balloons is on
Main Street, U.S.A., and sometimes you can also find them as you walk towards the
Matterhorn Bobsleds.
We always take photos in front of
Sleeping Beauty Castle and there are usually several Disney PhotoPass photographers positioned there. A great spot that is a hidden gem to take photos is to the right of the castle along the walking path. Along that same path, Snow White's wishing well is another great photo spot. If you head to Fantasyland, there is a fun wall by
"it's a small world" that also makes for a great photo backdrop. At
Disney California Adventure Park, there are many great photo spots around
Pixar Pier. I also love taking photos at sunset in Cars Land by the rock areas of
Radiator Springs Racers!
Another suggestion would be to ask a Disney PhotoPass photographer to do a Magic shot when taking your daughter's photo! There are a variety of Magic shots including adding balloons to the photo.
I have a tip for you! If you decide to add
Disney Genie+ to your theme park ticket, you will receive digital downloads of all photos taken that day. Genie+ is also a great way to maximize your time in the theme parks, so it's a great benefit to have!
I'm excited for you to experience the magic of Disney on the West Coast! If you have any additional questions before you arrive, please feel free to send them to us at planDisney. We would love to help!
See ya real soon!
Smiles,
Lisa
