Hi! We are taking our 2.5 year old to Disney World in 3 weeks. We have a few character dining reservations and one at the hoop-dee-doo review. I am just wondering if my son will enjoy that one or if he's too young and we shouldn't bother?

Hello Rachel.  I am so excited to hear about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, so fun.  I am glad to know you have made dining reservations, the good spots always fill up fast!

I have been to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue many times including when my daughter was just a small girl, I think around 3 years old.  We have enjoyed ourselves each time.  While your son is too young to really understand the jokes that are making people laugh, it is a really fun place to be.  He will love all of the laughter flying around and pretty soon he will be throwing his head back and giggling too.  Your son will love all of the singing and dancing from the performers and the audience.  There is constantly something to look at and enjoy.  The food is really good and familiar, I am sure you will be able to find something he likes.  If you do plan on attending, arrive early.  There are so many places to take some really fun pictures.  It will be a great memory.  The only thing I would suggest is to bring him a light jacket to wear, the dining room tends to be a bit chilly.

I think the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue sounds like a great plan and something that everyone will enjoy while you are at Walt Disney World.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
