We are taking my 4 year old to Disney World for the first time next month. We have ADR for Chef Mickey's the evening we arrive. My question is: which is a better, more memorable experience - Chef Mickey's or T-REX? He loves dinos but Mickey is awesome too!

    Hello Katherine!

Your son is sure to love his first trip to the most magical place on earth!  You simply can not go wrong with either dining experience.  T-Rex restaurant takes you right inside the age of the dinos.  It is a very cool adventure for kids of all ages, especially dinosaur enthusiasts.  I will caution you, however, that some young children do get frightened by the pretend meteor showers and lifelike dinosaurs.  Only you know whether or not that might be the case for your young son.  On the other hand, many families like to start or finish their trip to the Walt Disney World Resort at Chef Mickey's.  I think your little one will be on cloud 9 celebrating with Mickey Mouse and other familiar Disney Characters.  Kids also love the all-you-can-eat special kids buffet selections.  Did you know that you can see the monorail whiz by above you from Chef Mickey's?!  Chef Mickey's would be my choice for a welcome dinner, but only you know what experience your son might enjoy more.  Have so much fun, Katherine.

I wish you a truly magical vacation.
