Ahoy, Allison!
Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question. I'm happy to help!
It sounds like you're getting ready for some "splashtastic" fun on your upcoming Disney Cruise!
We enjoyed the
Atlantis Dolphin Cay Shallow Water Interaction and Aquaventure on one of our recent visits to the port of Nassau. We really loved our time at Dolphin Cay, and have wonderful photos and memories from our time spent with the beautiful dolphins. Afterwards, we had a nice lunch and headed over to experience
Atlantis Aquaventure. My youngest daughter was about the same age as yours at the time. While there was plenty to see and do, the crowds were large and she wasn't tall enough to do some of the slides. Looking back, she probably would have been just as happy to head back to the ship and spend time at the pool onboard! That being said, we made the most of it, and our little daredevil really enjoyed herself.
If you
do choose to book the Aquaventure experience, make sure to secure your daughter on a double tube with a life jacket on the "river rapids" water feature. I was expecting more of a "lazy river" type of experience, but it's much more like a white water rafting adventure!
I hope this helps with your planning. Wishing you a most magical time with Captain Mickey and his crew! - Diane W.
