We are taking our 4 year old daughter to WDW for the first time staying over Christmas week. I have heard that the dessert parties are really impressive. We have the DDP option so can we use credits for these parties or do you have to pay extra?

    Hi Zoe,

You have heard correctly!  If you love desserts and having an exclusive viewing area for nighttime entertainment then having reservations for one of these decadent dessert parties is right up your alley.  The dessert parties are available to purchase separately and unfortunately you cannot use meal or snack credits from your Disney Dining Plan to pay for them.  To view dining options and locations that are included with your Disney Dining Plan click on the previous link and you will be able to view the 2015 brochure.

The dessert parties are very popular, especially during the holiday season so booking early will give you the best chance for securing a reservation.  Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your delicious question Zoe!  Please let us know if you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, we are always happy to help!

    Blessings,
