I am taking my 2 year old daughter to Disneyland and I want her to have breakfast with animated characters. I would like to know which option is better if Plaza Inn or Goofy's Kitchen? Please help. Thank you

    Hello Christina!

I’m so excited you will be visiting Disneyland Resort with your daughter! It will be a magical visit for you both!

Choosing between Goofy’s Kitchen and Plaza Inn is a difficult one for me. Both have a great menu, fun characters to meet and great and a great atmosphere. For me personally, my youngest boy and I had the best time at Plaza Inn for a few reasons.

First, he’s gluten/dairy free and both restaurants will cater to his special dietary needs. He got to enjoy those iconic Mickey waffles just like the rest of our party and was VERY excited about that. On the day we dined, it was a nice fall morning and we sat outside to soak up the sun and it provided for some great people watching as well. I just love seeing everyone’s face light up as they are experiencing Disneyland Park.

Over at the Disneyland Hotel, Goofy’s Kitchen is a great way to have a character dining experience without being in the parks. We often stay at the Disneyland Hotel so the location was perfect for us. Again we had fun character photo opportunities and an amazing meal. I think my only reason to being partial to Plaza Inn is due to it’s location inside Disneyland Park.

I hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
