I am taking my 3 year old daughter to Disney World for the first time. Is there anything special they do for the children the first visit?

Oh, Patricia, the fun she is going to have. Quite honestly, you are going to have just as much fun, if not more, simply watching her. I have traveled to Walt Disney World as a child, single adult, newlywed and finally as a parent and I have to say watching my children's excitement is the most memorable.

When you arrive at Walt Disney World, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, be sure to ask for a "first visit" button for her to wear. If you aren't, you can still get one at guest services in the parks. Make sure she wears the button each and every day and you will be amazed at the special little moments as cast members will call her by name and possibly some unexpected pixie-dusted moments. Be sure to let cast members or characters know it is her first visit if she chooses not to wear the button.

I would definitely suggest a pair of Mickey ears. While these aren't complimentary, they are something special and unique! You'll be amazed at the variety there are to choose from and some can even be personalized.

I hope it is a magical vacation and the memories created will be forever treasured.
