We are taking my 2 year old daughter to Disney for her birthday which is December 3, 2011. It is also my husbands first time!!! I want to stay at a property with a separate bedroom as my daughter goes to bed way before we do? Suggestions?

    Hi Lisha:

I would check out the family suites at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort.  These suites sleep up to six guests and feature a separate bedroom, a pull-out sofa in the living room, two bathrooms and a kitchenette.  I would also consider The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.  The Cabins feature a separate bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds, a large living area with a pull-down double bed, a dining area, a fully-equipped kitchen, a charcoal grill, access to a pool, and a private patio. You should also consider one of the Disney Deluxe Villa Resort Hotels, which include one and two-bedroom villas.

Happy birthday to your daughter.  Remember to drop by City Hall at Magic Kingdom and Guest Relations at the other Parks to pick up a Happy Birthday button for your daughter and a "1st Visit" button for your husband.  Many Cast Members will go out of their way to greet them with a kind gesture to make the visit more memorable.

    Enjoy your vacation.
