Will taking a 2 1/2 year old to Animal Kingdom be worth it?

Hi Loraine!  My grandson who is now three has always enjoyed his time in the Animal Kingdom park.  He loves animals and so the safari ride is a big hit as well as the Maharajah Jungle Trek trail and the Pangani Forest trail to see the tigers and gorillas and other animals. Other attractions he enjoys is The Festival of the Lion King show as well as Finding Nemo-The Musical.  Places that young kids can enjoy and run off some energy include the Boneyard and Rafikis Planet Watch.  Beyond the attractions the one spot he never wants to leave is the area at the entrance to Africa where kids can bang on the drums all day!

The parade is very cute and worthwhile seeing as all the major characters and stilt walkers and puppets entertain along the way.  My opinion is that this park is second to the Magic Kingdom for little kids.
