I am taking my 10yo DS to WDW for the 1st time from Nov 23 - 26. Since we only have 4 days, and that isn't enough time to see everything, I am wondering what areas we should focus on that would interest him. He is into more thrill seeking rides.

This is a tough question for a Walt Disney World enthusiast like me to answer because it's so hard to recommend certain parks over others.  They all are unique, fabulous, and interesting in a different way.  That said, based on the description of your son, I'd suggest you spend your time at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  You'll notice I left Epcot off the list.  While I love Epcot, it isn't exactly the top park choice for either my 10 or 14-year-old.  While they do thoroughly enjoy eating in the World Showcase restaurants and exploring Innoventions, they favor the thrill rides in the other three parks over the attractions at Epcot.

If you find that after thoroughly exploring those parks you have time left over to visit Epcot, I would make every effort to do so.  While it doesn't have as many thrill rides as Disney's Hollywood Studios, it is the home of Mission: Space and Soarin'.  You'll find that Mission: Space is a more intense attraction than Soarin' but I've not met many people who don't fall in love with Soarin' and enjoy experiencing it again and again.

Hope that helps.  Enjoy your trip!
