I will be taking my 2yo to WDW during value season. I think we'll be staying at Wilderness Lodge. How long do the bus trips take to WDW and AK? We'll be heading back so my son can nap and I don't want to be spending hours riding a bus. Any suggestions?

    Hi Christine!

I think you've picked a great resort that is really convenient for families with little ones. Value season is actually my favorite time to visit because with little ones, I enjoy going at a slower pace and there are typically lower crowd levels so you don't feel like you're missing out on anything!

You'll probably spend much of your time at Magic Kingdom, and the boat ride over takes about 15 minutes. If you happen to just miss the oat and have to wait for the next one, it shouldn't take longer than 20 or so minutes to arrive.

Animal Kingdom park happens to be the farthest park from this area, but it's still only about 20 minutes bus ride. Disney buses run every 20 minutes. Don't worry about spending hours on bus rides. I would only say to budget about an hour for traveling between resorts, which might require you to change modes of transportation mid way. Hope this helps! Come back to the Moms Panel if you need anymore planning advice!
