I am taking my vacation to Disney World with my sons in September. I am staying at the Art of Animation Resort. My question is will I need to purchase separate tickets to the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween, or will my tickets cover the event?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Pamela! I am so excited that you and your sons will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this fall! September holds a special place in my heart because my daughter's very first trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth was in September when she was just 1 year old.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately-ticketed event so you will need to purchase additional tickets to enjoy the party. On select nights when the party is taking place, Magic Kingdom Park will close early to those who do not have tickets to the event. If you do have a Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket, you will receive a special wristband that indicates you are there for the party and therefore allowed to stay in the park when the party starts. Once the party begins, you can enjoy trick-or-treating around the park at designated stations, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, and the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Show. The party is SO much fun so I definitely recommend that you attend one night during your upcoming trip.

Ticket prices vary by date and I suggest purchasing your tickets early as some parties do sell out.

I hope this helps! Have a spooktacular time at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
